As we move closer to the end of this year, it is unfortunate to note that U.S. drug shortages are at an all-time high. Also unfortunate is that this is not a new issue. Drug shortages have been occurring in the United States for far too long.

We’ve all seen the headlines: recent drug shortages have been the worst on record. This reality is problematic for patients, providers and manufacturers. At Fresenius Kabi, our purpose is to help patients gain better access to the life-saving treatments they need – when and where they need them most.

That’s why Fresenius Kabi is doing More in America to expand the ready-to-administer options available to clinicians and caregivers – by offering prefilled, standard strength, single-patient delivery platforms in syringes and IV bags.
